The Dordogne (Perigord) is famous for its castles, caves, ancient towns, wine, rivers and markets. The tourist centers like Lalinde,Le Bugue (30min), Beynac, Sarlat are situated in the east, while the cities Bergerac and Perigueux (the hyper-marchés, old city) are within 20 minutes drive.

Recommended are the various natural caves, a boat/ canoe trip on the Dordogne, a visit to local restaurants or a visit to the morning markets Issigeac, Lalinde, Le Bugue or Bergerac/Perigueux.

For wine lovers, a wine tasting at one of the 80 wine chateaux is a must.

There are several walks in the neighbourhood and for the active cyclists there are challenging routes in the beautiful rolling country side.
